Mini dresses forever
Hello you gorgeous lot. I hope you’ve all had the best weekend. I took a few days off work last week- I was getting the that burnout point I mentioned recently, and realised I had to just take a step back if I was ever going to move forward with anything. Time off is so important, remember that. It meant that I could enjoy my weekend with friends without the stress of the week spilling over into my weekend, and winding me up a treat.
I love these images we shot last week, a mix of digital and film.
I’m never not on the hunt for the perfect leather biker, and if you want a heavy, biker style, vintage always seems to be best. The leather was heavier then, and the jackets were used for wearing on motorbikes! So they had to stand the test of a tumble. I searched high and low, and came across a few I liked but of course, they came with price tags of £500 and upwards, and I’m all for investing but they weren’t that heavy duty leather that I wanted. I found this one on my beloved Vestiare, where I shop for vintage and pre-owned luxury items often, recycling is the key!
My mini dress is by Rouje, Jeanne Demas’ chic French brand and, it might be a little shorter than anticipated on me and my long legs, but it’s beautiful. A knitted mini dress is a great autumn alternative if you’re not ready to give up on bare legs just yet.
