A Mexican Christmas on Film
Hello you lot! I hope you’re so, so well and happy! I wanted to share a photo diary of my trip to Mexico for Christmas with you. We planned the trip last year to make sure we had something lovely in the diary to be all together- it should have been; me, mum, dad, my brother Mike and James but dad was poorly the night before and on the morning of our flight so he and mum couldn’t come. We were gutted! and they were flagon from Manchester so I didn’t find out the drama until we landed in Mexico! Dad is absolutely fine now, thank goodness! But it ended up being the three of us which was really fun although, we missed mum and dad.
We stayed in Riviera Maya which was beautiful, but visited Tulum which is around 45 minutes away by car, a few times for beach clubs, drinks and dinners at the most amazing places. When we go back, we’ll stay in Tulum.
It was such a restful week, I really switched off and regardless of missing our parents, we managed to have such a great time.
Places I’d recommend in Tulum:
Kitchen Table for dinner- only takes booking 1 week in advance
Casa jaguar for dinner
Gitana for drinks/party
Be Tulum to stay, use the beach club, have lunch. If you aren’t staying but want to use the beach club, theres just a minimum spend of $50 per person to stay there, eat and drink. It was one of my favourite days!
Short and sweet from me today. I hope you enjoyed looking at the film photos we took.
See you back here next week. xx
