Summer in the City
I can't remember a summer in the UK like this. It just keeps on giving! It is amazing; the feeling of waking up each day, safe in the knowledge of perfect weather, like you're on holiday. I know I speak for most people when I say that as amazing as it is, getting to sleep at night is flipping hard work. If we all had air-con, we'd be laughing, much like if we all lived on the ground floor too, because seriously, that heat rises. I'm not here to moan, because I wouldn't dare wish it away. The sunshine does wonders for everyone, and I hope you're really enjoying it as much as you can too.
This look has become a bit of a reliable one for me during the hotter times and I love how the colours just radiate 'summer'. These shorts are the best fitting denim shorts I have ever owned, and they're all of £30, by Weekday. I got them in white and in a light blue wash. They're high waisted and not too tight on the legs, which I always feel is the best shape for me. The top, I'll hold my hands up, is basically a knitted t-shirt but it is lightweight! I found this in-store in Zara, so I've linked a similar one online at Zara for you below. The sunglasses are past season Celine, but I've found your a near identical pair that I love too. The colour of these suits most skin tones, and they aren't super oversized. This is key information for me because I've got the worlds tiniest head.
My basket bag is the one I've used lots lately, by Muun, and I've really got my wear out of it. It's super sturdy and fits a fair amount in it.
Forever wearing Superga on my feet, but you know that already.
