The silky skirt & chunky knit look

Hello you lot! I hope you're all so well, and have got some nice things in the diary for this weekend. I'm back from Spain and ready to take on some London Fashion Week action, in below outfit!

Today's post is one of my favourite looks as a nod to the silky skirts and chunky knits trend we all seem to have adopted. The proportions of this look work so well for me, because I'm tall, I can work with a just-longer-than midi skirt, and a bit of an oversized crop knit. Of course, trainers always look best to make it feel more casual. No heels here mates.

Both the knit and skirt are from Gestuz; a brand I have found such love for recently. I was kindly invited into their new store in Copenhagen and it was every bit as cool as you'd expect. I chose a few A/W pieces that I knew I'd get loads of wear out of. Gestuz hails from a strong Scandinavian design heritage and disrupts classic so well. They design pieces that can be worn season after season and still feel special. I find the fit of the pieces really great, they run true to size, and so far have washed and worn very well.
