Those forever pieces
the forever pieces
Hello you lovely bunch. I hope you are all so very well and that you’ve had a fab week so far. In London, the weather is so beautiful, and borderline, can I say, warm? So it’s been a really lovely week and I’ve done a lot of walking.
Today’s post is another in the series of at home shoots that I did with my photographer Ollie Ali. I wanted to share a couple of pieces that I have recently been living in.
Let’s start with what’s on my feet because I’m too excited to share about these. They’re old Céline and I never thought I would ever be able to get my hands on a pair once they sold out. They’re from the last collection that Phoebe Philo designed and they literally captured my heart and soul, and embodied them in a boot.
I have worn them so, so much since they arrived because they go with everything and make a casual outfit chic in every way.
My amazing friend Bettina Looney heads up a personal shopping service that is ran via WhatsApp. Her team are on hand to find you those designer pieces that have sold out, or that you just can’t seem to find. That’s how I became united with my Céline boots, and in under 2 weeks too. The service she provides is fast, professional and really personable too- it’s like talking to a friend, and they can’t do enough for you! This is the link to be connected to the team in WhatsApp- so if you’re on the hunt for something, let them know!
Next up, for those of you that follow me on Instagram, you’ll have seen this jacket approximately 20 times already but why not, when it’s this good! It’s from The Frankie Shop, an online store that is just incredibly cool and sources the best cuts and fits of one-off pieces as well as carrying some great brands too. I think it’s sold out at the moment but I know they are re-stocking for sure. A great blazer is hard to find, and believe me, I have many. My most worn are the oversized, boxy and masculine shapes- this kind of style is me through and through and I always feel sexy in a blazer!
The jumper I’m wearing is another thing I wear a couple of times a week, it’s Uniqlo cashmere and it’s the best. Under £40 at the moment, super soft and easy to wear. My jeans are usual Levi’s vintage 501’s- you’ll have to hunt some down in a local vintage store to find the perfect fit!
