with the girls in Copenhagen
I spent a few days in Copenhagen last week with the girls over Copenhagen Fashion Week and as always it was so much fun. We booked an Air Bnb for a couple of nights, which was like one giant sleepover, complete with giddiness when we were trying to get to sleep.
Lizzy and I shared a room and Brit and Kim shared a room. I thought I was doing the ‘good mate’ thing by taking the smaller room so that Brit and Kim could have the big bedroom with lots of space, but little did we know that their room was on the main road, or that as they got into bed on the first night that the bed would collapse underneath them!! They ended up on mattresses on the floor for the first night which was pretty hilarious. I’d recommend the Air BnB to you if it wasn’t for the noise and the broken bed! and severe lack of mirrors for 4 women trying to get ready every day.
We had some great food, great wine and saw some wonderful shows this season.
Highlights for me were the Cecilie Bahnsen show which was in a huge warehouse space and the looks were absolutely incredible with a black and white colour block theme. Her dresses in particular are just so beautiful and etherial. I really enjoyed Baum und Pferdgarten this season too, especially the checked pieces. Rodebjer was an amazing presentation, and the first time I had seen it- the simplicity matched with bold colour was so chic and I really loved the contrast. I was invited to the Samsøe Samsøe family dinner which as always was beautiful and I always love seeing the team so much.
Food I loved:
FRANK- great set menu, sharing plates, a mix of everything!
Bæst- amazing sharing plates, Italian and incredible pizza
Tommi’s burger joint- gorgeous, fuss free, quick burgers in the meatpacking district
Thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you back here next week with something new. xx
