weekly style edit

Hello you lot. I hope you’re all so well. Last week over on Instagram, I asked whether you’d like to see a weekly style edit from me, things I’ve bought, things I would like to buy and how to wear them. 98% of people said yes! I wanted to do it on stories but I feel like I want to have a more permanent place for you guys to head to when you need some inspiration when shopping.

This weeks style edit is a bit of a mix, because, as we know, so is the weather!

Tumblr is a really great source of inspiration for me, and since the weather has been so unpredictable, I’ve found it hard to get dressed! So here are some images I’ve taken inspiration from this week, in order to get dressed and not feel like I’ve fallen in a pile of summer clothes and then into a pile of winter clothes, straight after.

I love this image so much- it captures that really relaxed style that I love. A basic vest, classic sunglasses, a jacket around your waist (I am obsessed with this Free People one!) and a classic bag. I chose the black Burberry one that I recently bought as it’s amazing, goes with everything and is comfortable to carry.

There’s so much I love about this look. Mainly the skirt/oversized sweatshirt or shirt pairing. I found a cool & Other Stories linen mini skirt and a men’s sweatshirt from ASOS to recreate this look. I love how the proportions of this look- legs out, big baggy sweatshirt and trainers.

This is basically my uniform at the moment- with a jacket added in….Linen trousers or just a great wide leg trouser with a fitted tank top and you’re good to go.

Ecru everything is where my head is at now. And also, linen everything too. I love the textures and colours in this look. I’d wear with some Ray-Ban’s and some classic black mules too. Size up by 2 sizes on the John Lewis linen shirt for a more oversized fit.

That’s is for this weeks style edit. I hope you’ve enjoyed it. I’ll be back with another one next week. xx
