Hello you lot! I hope you’re all so very well this week.
I have been so excited to share this look with you- only because I’ve been wearing it at every opportunity that has passed my way. So here it is, featuring some shorts I made myself (by taking the scissors to some old jeans). The trick is- if you can’t find what you want, try and customise something of your own! Especially where denim is concerned.
I made these out of some Weekday jeans that were the wrong length, and since they are my favourite high waisted jeans (Row), I knew it’d work well. I cut them longer than I thought I needed at first, and did it in stages so I didn’t mess it up (I always mess things like this up!). Then I cut two tiny slits in the sides so they weren’t super tight on my thighs.
I love all pieces in this look individually, like small neutral kids. I wear them all so often in different ways and they’ve been my most worn pieces this summer so far. Barr, the heatwave, nobody is wearing denim then.
