Finding pieces of femininity with Chloé Nomade
You know me, I’m not the worlds best girly-girl. Usually a tomboy at heart, forever finding ways to make pretty dresses, un-pretty. I know so many women who feel this way, and it’s not a negative thing at all, but sometimes, I forget that actually, embracing something pretty, instead of toughening it up with some dirty old trainers, really does make you feel a bit special. When I was asked to be involved in this beautiful project with Debenhams x Chloé, I took one look at this Studio by Preen Lilac dress and was desperate to wear it. It’s been a while since I felt like wearing something that was more feminine and elegant, and it’s safe to say I felt a little bit of freedom when I slipped into it.
The new Chloé Nomade fragrance invites just that, freedom, elegance and the opportunity to lose yourself in something more than the ordinary. This will be interpreted in many ways by many of you, but for me, being involved in this Debenhams x Chloé campaign helped me to unlock a missing piece of my femininity. It feels so good to be reminded how it feels to get dressed up, just because, and not for an occasion.
The new Studio by Preen collection exclusively at Debenhams is beautiful and although it is pretty liberating to get dressed up for no reason, these dresses are the perfect buy for a the coming Summer months, holidays and special occasions. They’re beautifully made, and Preen are one of my favourite designers for dresses so this collaboration that’s purse friendly is just the ticket!
