The Jewellery Edit
Jewellery is my vice. There, I said it. Recently, I've discovered so many new and incredible designers that I would happily go bankrupt to be able to invest in, and wear their pieces every day, forever. Now whilst that's irresponsible, I figured that a better way to communicate just how incredible they are, would be to shoot an edit and show you exactly why.
I've focussed on three of my favourite, London based designers, and all pieces are in gold, of silver x gold mix, because that's what floats my boat. I shot this edit with the very talented Mari, you can catch her Instagram here.
So let's start with Alighieri. A brand that I fell in love with, actually via an online dating app match who is very good friends with the designer Rosh. How hilarious. I went to see some of her pieces in Modern Society London and was absolutely in love with them straight away. My other half treated me to a couple of pieces for Christmas, and my god, he did well.
Alighieri is one of the most beautiful, inspiring collections I've ever seen. Rosh, the designer is an absolute dream too, and she wears the pieces so beautifully. The collection is inspired by Dante Alighieri's 'Divine Comedy' which each piece a reflection of the poet's 100 poems. The La Fortuna bracelet comes from the haphazard of chance, designed to be worn on your travels to bring you courage and luck.
The Le Selva Oscura rings are inspired by a position of being lost. The rough edges reflect craggy rocks, and weathered trees. They're easily stackable and designed to be worn however you would like to.
Next up we have Inger Studio. I recently partnered with this wonderful designer to give you a discount code via Instagram. Her work is simplicity at it's best. Each piece is carefully crafted to depict notes of fluidity meets deconstruction and everyday wear, with something a little special about them. I'm pictured wearing thick gold hoops, that I never take out! They come in silver, but can be customised into gold too. Wonderfully priced and easy to wear, stack and love.
Lastly, I want to introduce you to Felice Dahl, a Scandinavian inspired collection that I am completely in love with. Stephanie, born with Swedish roots, the lucky thing, has effortlessly channeled Scandi cool into her designs. I've been wearing my ear cuff relentlessly. It's brand new to the collection and gives the illusion of two piercings…without the holes! So if you're squeamish, this is for you. I'm wearing the Ljus Bangle, Ljus Ring, Ljus ear cuff & Ljus necklace.
I really hope you've enjoyed this piece. I absolutely loved editing it for you.
