Last week I had the pleasure of meeting the guys behind the brand, Node Studio, a somewhat incredible shoe brand. British designed, crafted with Italian leather, it’s love! The brains behind the designs is Lee Cousins, a wonderfully artistic man, bursting with talent. Node is the intersection of ideas, design and culture. I was lucky enough to be given this pair, and another pair, coming soon!
So the first thing I wanted to do was A. sniff them (Italian leather smells so good) and B. wear them.
I have made an executive decision, together with my wardrobe present, that layers are the only viable option for the foreseeable future. It has been so cold that I honestly have feared for my fingers and toes lives. The wonderful team at La Redoute sent me the most beautiful tailored camel jacket a month or so ago and it had fallen off it’s hanger in my wardrobe never to be found again, until, I did a clear out. Phew. I layered it up with some classic breton stripes by COS and threw on my wonderfully warm wool coat by Atterley. Aside from the frost biting at my ankles, I was pretty toasty.
My sunglasses are Fendi, and I adore them, season after season.
I hope you loved this outfit as much as I did. Thank you so much for reading.
xx
