Anti-Valentines gifts from you to you

All too often we put the responsibility of being treated to something special on our boys. What about treating yourself instead? Especially, if like me, you’re not into V Day. Chris and I used this sickly sweet celebration of love to sit in, with a bottle of wine and a massive steak whist we put the world to rights. No different to most of our nights in together.

So back to you, and how important you are. I’ve put together a little shopping list for you, no matter what you’re into. It’s important to be selfish now and again, you deserve the world and don’t let anybody tell you any different.

1. Love, Style, Life by Garance Dore

The book most women on this earth have beautifully placed in every flat lay on Instagram. The trick is, to read it. Garance is so inspiring, and in many ways you’ll relate to her story of growing up and those awkward teenage years. (Photo from lovestylelife.com).

2. Get a killer diary. Plan your time in something you’re proud to whip out of your handbag. You know, to plan all of those drinks with the girls. Mine is from Amaretti-Design.com.

3. Jewellery is a girl’s best friend. In addition to her actual best friend. My go-to for jewels is Parla, based in Shoreditch. Lucky for you, you can shop online. I recently got this killer ear cuff by Clarice Price Thomas and I’m in love!

4. Some super chic pyjamas so you can have some relaxing alone time and appreciate just how brilliant you are. These are my favourite from Eight Hour Studio.

I hope you really do treat yourself, or ‘yo self’ this V Day. Even if he treats you too…..
Thank you so much for reading. Have a beautiful day!
xx
