Dear Frances

During London Fashion Week this season I was lucky enough to visit the Dear Frances pop up showroom so I could get a peep at whats to come for SS16. I met Jane and her husband at the most beautiful of locations, in a top floor apartment that was filled with light and a beautiful presentation of the collection. I even had a great cup of tea!

The showroom brimmed with a beautifully simple aesthetic and scattered dried flowers which was such a lovely touch. Jane is the designer and she’s Sydney born- I could listen to her talk for hours! Jane studied in London then undertook an internship in Italy and that’s where these incredible shoes are now made using the finest leathers. The SS16 collection is named after female friends and family which I absolutely love, and they all chose the styles they were named after which means, Jane knows their taste inside out!

The way the lookbook was shot for the SS16 campaign is amazing, simple and still life, but able to capture the luxury of each shoe.
