Last week I was lucky enough to be whisked off to Paris with Lacoste to attend a Tennis Clinic, and go to Roland Garros (The French Open). I know, mental.
I’ve worked with Lacoste so much this past couple of years and I adore them. We always have the best time in Paris together. We usually head out on a trip as part of Paris Fashion Week but this trip was a little different as it was tennis related.
It was a quick 24 hours, and I think I spent 5 hours in my hotel room and that was during my sleep. But it was so much fun.
As we arrived, it was such a beautiful evening. We all met on the hotels roof terrace for sunset drinks and then headed to dinner at La Belle Epoque. I’ve eaten here before and it never disappoints. The vibe here is my absolute favoruite too, I love the open-air front, how close all the tables are and the interior design is incredible and just so cool.
The next morning, with a slightly sore head, we all got kitted out in our tennis gear to go to a Tennis Clinic which was absolutely beautiful, where a former world champion, Mats Wilander would coach us for 90 minutes. I thought this would be fairly low key; I can tell you, it was not. Cardio drills, doubles matches and constant lessons meant I went from barely being able to hit the flipping ball to getting my footwork bob on! I was absolutely chuffed.
After a much needed shower….we were taken over to watch the tennis. I saw Caroline Wozniacki win! So I was excited about that.
I hope you enjoyed this whizz around Paris! You must eat at La Belle Epoque!
Thank you so much for reading and I’ll be back on Wednesday with something new for you xx
