Style,

What to wear with fancy flats

Hello you lot. I hope you are having a wonderful week so far. Last week I stumbled into the Joseph sale and fell upon these incredible fancy flats by Jil Sander. I had them in my wish list and just couldn’t bring myself to spend the money on them because I’m trying to be mindful of what fashion items I buy, and also, save for a house. You see my problem.

As luck would have it, the shoes that were in my online wish list were sat in front of me, in my size, at 60% off. It took me about three seconds to decide that I wanted them and before James had turned around, I was at the till. With no regrets.

I have been searching for the perfect pair of flat shoes to wear int he day time with my new summer wardrobe. I wanted a pair that weren’t sandals and that could be dressed up. These shoes tick all the boxes. They’re super soft leather, in an off white colour so go with everything from denim to linen rust colours. My favourite bit about the design is the gold anklet attached to the back, which is removable too.

I styled them with a fairly simple outfit for a day of lunching with friends and I felt so comfortable but smart too, because you know, the new fancy flats had me covered. Regardless of my height, 5’11, I still do absolutely love a heeled shoe, theres something super sexy about a heel on a woman and I still love that. Flats are also my thing too, but not because of my height, but because they’re an easy, comfier alternative and can be just as chic.

Shop my look:

Reformation linen skirt

Jil Sander shoes

Muuñ bag

Cos t-shirt- mens size small

Monarc pearl hoops

Le Specs Luxe sunglasses

Thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you back here on Monday xx

I’m so into flats, I’m actually not that tall, but flats are my thing as well!
