At the beginning of this week I had one of the best times I’ve ever had. One of my closest friends, Lucy, came up from Oxford so we could go to XFM Winter Wonderland. It was incredible. We stayed in a roomy apartment (which we exploded all over, the amount we took for one night was a little excessive) and headed out into Manchester after the gig where we were chatted up by a 20 year old police officer. Smooth. The next morning we popped out into the Northern Quarter for some much needed breakfast at Home Sweet Home- FYI if you’ve never been, for goodness sake GO. I wore layer upon layer because I was A. hungover and B. freezing.
